Based in Barcelona | Originally from India

I’m an architect with a growing focus on circular design systems, data-driven workflows, and sustainable futures. My journey spans across architecture, UX design, and environmental research, bridging the gap between material intelligence, computational logic, and social impact.

Currently, I’m pursuing a Master’s in Advanced Architecture (MAA) at IAAC Barcelona, where I’m exploring the use of reinforcement learning to optimize modular housing design for disassembly and reuse. This aligns with my broader interest in circularity, rethinking how we build, use, and unbuild architecture to align with ecological and societal rhythms.

Design Ethos :
My approach is rooted in the belief that architecture must evolve from being extractive to regenerative. I view each project as an opportunity to embed climate responsibility, material circularity, and systemic equity, whether that’s through passive design strategies in a tribal health center or robotic fabrication of a parametric module.

I work across scales, from rural public health architecture in India to responsive facades and LCA-optimized components in Europe. My projects often leverage:

  • Computational tools (Grasshopper, Rhino, Ladybug)

  • Performance simulations (LCA via OneClick, energy modeling via E-Quest)

  • Digital fabrication (3D printing, robotic assembly, CNC)

  • And an ongoing curiosity to ask: “What happens to a building when it’s no longer needed?”

Professional Experience :
I’ve worked on over a 10+ real-world projects, including residential, institutional, and public sector typologies:

  • At Studio EFI, I contributed to 8 large-scale projects and oversaw site coordination for over 42,000 sq.m of construction.

  • At Axis Architects, I was involved in designing government schools and an airport terminal proposal in Ranchi.

  • I also explored digital product workflows at Decofice, and led UX research at Bumble, shaping multiple app updates through user behavior insights.

This cross-pollination of spatial design, digital tools, and human-centered research has helped me evolve as a designer who is both technically equipped and socially responsive.

Research & Recognition :
My undergraduate and postgraduate work reflects an evolving commitment to inclusive and regenerative design. Key highlights include:

  • Thesis on Para-athletic Architecture using Space Syntax and parametric modeling to foster equity through design.

  • Recognition at national and international competitions: Solar Decathlon, Writing Architecture Trophy, NASA Design Awards.

  • Publications exploring industrial heritage reuse, design hierarchy, and architectural fertility as a social agent.

Tools & Certifications :
Architecture & Visualization: Rhino, Grasshopper, AutoCAD, Revit, Lumion, V-Ray
Sustainability & Analysis: One Click LCA Certified, LEED Green Associate, E-Quest, Ladybug
Creative & UX: Figma, Adobe Suite, SketchUp, Adobe XD
Soft Skills: Team Coordination, Communication, Research-led Thinking

Current Focus :

  • Building a circularity-driven design portfolio that integrates LCA, design for disassembly, and system-thinking.

  • Exploring AI and RL to automate low-carbon modular design logic.

  • Seeking collaborations in sustainable consulting, computational design, and urban ecology across Europe.
